Firefighters helped to remove a woman from a car involved in a "T-bone" collision in Dunedin on Thursday night.
A police spokeswoman said police were called to a two-car crash at the corner of Crawford and Jetty Sts about 8.50pm.
"It appears that one of vehicles has T-boned the other," she said.
A Fire Service spokesman said crews from Willowbank and Dunedin City cut the woman from the vehicle.
The crews were called just after 9pm and were at the scene for about 30 minutes.
A St John spokeswoman said the woman suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Dunedin Hospital.
