A 23-year-old Dunedin man allegedly intoxicated and high on K2 became agitated and smashed a window inside his own flat, police say.
The man was arrested at the Glenross Apartments complex in Kaikorai Valley at 2pm on Monday.
Sergeant Ed Baker said the man was charged with wilful damage and was due to appear in the Dunedin District Court this week.
Also charged with wilful damage on Monday was a 21-year-old Dunedin man who allegedly smashed a window in a Bay View Rd house.
Police were called to the property at 12.50pm, and used pepper spray to apprehend the man when he became aggressive, Sgt Baker said.
He was also due to appear in court this week.
Sgt Baker said a 24-year-old Dunedin man would appear in court this week, following a domestic incident in Havelock St at 1.50am yesterday.
He was charged with assaulting a female. The man was also apprehended for breaching his bail conditions.
Sgt Baker said police were investigating a report of another assault, in which a man claimed he was attacked by another man in the Dunedin International Airport car park at 4.30pm on Monday.
Also under investigation was an alleged theft. Sgt Baker said staff at the Pet Warehouse in Manse St reported a man entered the store about noon on Monday and stole an aquarium heater.
He was stopped by staff, who recovered the heater, but the man ''decamped'' and police were working to locate him, Sgt Baker said.
