It was an inspirational moment for the rugby-mad Dunedin 11-year-old, who says he, too, wants to win it for his country.
"It's awesome. I've seen it on TV a lot. It looks the same in real life - only shinier.
"I want to win it now."
Noah was one of hundreds of Dunedin rugby fans, young and old, who visited the New Zealand Rugby Football Union's Great Rugby Road Trip at Kensington Corner yesterday afternoon.
On display were the Rugby World Cup (Webb Ellis Trophy), the Bledisloe Cup, the IRB Women's Rugby World Cup and the IRB Junior World Championship Trophy.
New Zealand Rugby Union chief executive Steve Tew said the road trip was about saying thank you to New Zealand for the wonderful support the nation had given during the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
