Nearly 150 Otago volunteers have yet to receive a commemorative silver medal and certificate for participating in the tournament last year.
"Everyone worked so hard and they all did a really great job, so they deserve a medal.
"We were lucky to get such great support," Dunedin City Council events and special projects officer Kim Newman said on Wednesday.
"We had about 400 volunteers helping during the tournament and there are 144 medals and certificates still waiting to be claimed," she said.
