Two people were taken to Dunedin Hospital after a serious crash on Three Mile Hill in Dunedin yesterday.
Two patients, a woman in her 20s with serious injuries and a patient with moderate injuries, were transported by ambulance from the scene.
The road was closed and diversions were in place while the serious crash unit attended.
Meanwhile, a driver escaped uninjured yesterday after their car left Dunedin's North Rd and became entangled in vines, a police spokesman said.
The crash in Normanby happened at 4.45pm.
The driver, the sole occupant of the car, was rescued by emergency services personnel.
