A woman alleged to have been driving with a breath-alcohol level more than three times the legal limit on Wednesday afternoon was remanded without plea when brought before the Dunedin District Court on Thursday morning.
Karen Marie Foote (46), nurse, of Mosgiel, is charged with driving with a breath-alcohol level of 1322mcg, on Middleton Rd, Dunedin, on December 23.
Bail conditions require Foote not to drive any motor vehicle, not to drink any alcohol, and to submit to a breath test if required.
Another condition is to live at a specified address.
The Subaru car she was driving was to be surrendered to the Dunedin Central police station by 4pm on December 24.
Judge Stephen Coyle declined an application from counsel John Farrow for interim suppression of Foote's name.
