Three people were injured after a crash on the Dunedin Northern Motorway last night.
A police spokeswoman said about 9.15pm, a single car crashed on the motorway.
Two people received injuries to their neck and head, she said.
A St John media alert said of the three people injured, two had moderate injuries and one had minor injuries.
Two of the injured were taken to Dunedin Hospital.
Part of one lane was blocked for a time, but vehicles were still able to pass, the police spokeswoman said.
