Police are investigating at least three suspicious small fires in Dunedin on Saturday.
Firefighters attended a small blaze in rubbish left on a trailer in College St, Caversham, shortly before 1am; a suspicious hedge fire in Oxley Cres, Broad Bay, about 3am; and a suspicious car fire in Chambers St, Northeast Valley, less than an hour later.
The College St fire is the third lit in rubbish in the street in the past two months.
A police spokesman said yesterday it was too early to say if there were any links between the fires, or with earlier fires.
