Police are investigating a reported suspicious approach to a child near a Dunedin supermarket by a man in a van this afternoon.
A woman reported that her child had been approached near the Fresh Choice supermarket in Roslyn about 3.40pm.
Police were investigating but had not yet located the man, a spokeswoman said this evening.
There was nothing to suggest another child was in the van.
