Hanging with family during the summer break are (from left) sisters Emilie (9), Rose (15) and Sophia (11) Oats and their cousin Noah Kendrick (9). All travelled from Dunedin for a camping holiday over the summer break.

Bucklands Crossing was a popular spot yesterday, as holiday makers found the perfect spot to take shelter from the scorching summer heat.

Otago Daily Times photographer Linda Robertson was there.
