Student exhibition packed

Dunedin School of Art second-year student Chynna Highsted (19) enjoys the opening reception for "Mansions of the Mind" yesterday.

The art school’s annual second-year painting student group exhibition opened last night at a packed Robert Piggott Art Gallery, in Jetty St, Dunedin.

Ms Highsted’s paintings (pictured from left) Brutality, Internal Flesh and Manipulated Flesh, all acrylic, glue, and cotton on board, were among the 29 student art works, by six second-year painting students on display.

"Mansions of the Mind" runs at the gallery for two weeks.
