Zoe Wan did not quite know what to expect when Australian science communicator and performer Chris Krishna-Pillay asked her to hold up a toilet roll during a show at Wall Street Mall on Saturday but she soon found out.
Mr Krishna-Pillay turned the leaf blower on the roll, blowing it across the gathered crowd to the delight of the children in the audience who had been spellbound by his tricks showing how science and technology worked.
Mr Krishna-Pillay, a science theatre proponent, had returned to Dunedin to do a series of street science events for the International Science Festival.
