The second of five new sports light brackets are lifted into place at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin last week.

Sports lights that have lit up the stadium pitch since 2011 are being replaced and what has been termed crowd-experience lighting is also being added.

The project is being managed by Aotea Electric Southern.

The new lights allow for filters, colours, patterns and projections to be displayed on the roof, pitch and seating areas.

It is intended the project will be completed in time for the first Highlanders’ rugby game next season, on February 24.
