The 9-year-old was one of about 80 pupils at the school to bake cakes and decorate them this week for the fair.
Quinn's cake won the most colourful cake award at the school's cake decorating competition yesterday. Awards were also given for best chocolate creation, most creative cake and favourite character cake.
Parent Teacher Association president Kristy Booth said the school fair raised about $29,000 last year and it was hoped at least $20,000 could be raised this year to buy computer-technology equipment for classrooms. The cakes alone were expected to raise about $600, she said.
"If we can get to $20,000 in the current economic climate, we'll be thrilled."
The fair begins in the St Clair School grounds at 11am and finishes at 2pm.
