The store, which sells Christian books, gifts and cards and runs a DVD hire service, opened in
1984 as an offshoot of the now-closed Apostolic Church.
The store is a non-profit incorporated society and is run by a manager and volunteers from several Taieri Churches.
The store relies heavily on donations and any profit made goes into expenses.
Manager Lynne Mellon said the shop was a great example of Christians from different denominations working together.
''I want to acknowledge all the people who have had an input over the years. There have been so many of them,'' she said.
''It's a miracle that we're still open. It's always a struggle but God is good and provides so we are able to pay the bills.''
The book shop is in its fourth location.
The anniversary will be celebrated on May 30 and 31, with birthday cake, specials, and spot prizes.
