Southern Motorway affected by four-car crash

The Southern Motorway in Dunedin was reduced to one lane southbound yesterday afternoon following a four-car crash.

The crash happened about 2.40pm  near the Fairfield off-ramp and appeared to be a nose-to-tail, a police spokeswoman said.

A St John spokeswoman said one person was taken to Dunedin Hospital with minor injuries.
