Staff at the Dunedin Central Police Station remember and honour Senior Sergeant Lyn Fleming, who was killed in Nelson early on New Year’s Day.
Snr Sgt Fleming was one of two officers struck by a vehicle in Nelson’s Buxton Square about 2am on January 1.
She died later that day of her injuries.
Police staff around the country observed a minute’s silence at 1pm, 24 hours before Snr Sgt Fleming will be farewelled at a funeral service with full police honours in Nelson.
