The Fire Service was called to a Castle St North property after concerned calls about the bonfire ''complete with scooter on fire'', a Fire Service spokesman said.
Police were called to the property, where a 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with disorderly behaviour, Senior Sergeant Craig Brown, of Dunedin, said.
