Reward for good behaviour

Georgia Jaques (22), of Hawke’s Bay, knew she was going to have a great graduation yesterday when she went into Dunedin cafe, Morning Magpie, with her reusable coffee cup and got a free coffee.

The cafe was one of many around the country giving away free coffee to customers with reusable cups yesterday, as part of New Zealand’s first Use Your Own Cup Day.

The day celebrates reusing vessels rather than opting for disposable coffee cups.

Miss Jaques left the coffee shop, full of energy for her University of Otago graduation in human nutrition and food service management.
