The Glenfalloch Jetty area in Portobello Rd, Dunedin, is one of 14 reserves along the edge of the Otago Harbour contained within a Dunedin City Council management plan under review.

They provide access to the harbour for recreational users.

The council is seeking feedback about a draft plan until October 23.

"Dunedin people have told us in the past they think the harbour reserves and their facilities are excellent assets that should be protected," parks and recreation acting group manager Heath Ellis said.

"They are used by many people for activities such as fishing, boating, windsurfing, paddleboarding, swimming, walking, driving, picnicking, photography and bird-watching."

The council is also seeking feedback about the future of the Dunedin Town Belt.
