Red-light runner crashes into Dunedin parking garage

A driver ran a red light before crashing into a parking garage on Cumberland St in Dunedin late last night.

The crash happened near the Leviathan Hotel about 11.40pm. 

A police spokeswoman said the driver was injured and taken to Dunedin Central Police Station for excess breath alcohol processing.
