According to a tenant, the fire started in the laundry of the Ravensbourne Rd property, possibly from an electrical fault, and "quickly spread".
Firefighters made their way inside the house and brought the blaze under control.
The extent of the damage is not yet known.
There was no danger to neighbouring properties.
