It was all hands on deck as 47 pupils from Broad Bay School embarked on a cleanup of the area to mark Conservation Week, but little was found in the way of rubbish.
Broad Bay School principal Greg MacLeod said the school was already an ''unofficial'' caretaker of the area, and conservation was an integral part of the enviroschool, which was probably why so little rubbish was found yesterday. Broad Bay School pupil Owen Bettis (11), said he felt ''really good'' to be participating in the cleanup.
