From baby booties to chakra-balancing, there was something for everyone at the Winter Craft Show, in Dunedin at the weekend - including man's best friend.

About 5000 people attended the show, which ran on Saturday and Sunday, and one of the most popular stalls was Let Them Eat Cupcakes.

Owner Marianne Henderson, of Mataura, created brightly frosted mini-cupcakes and chunky lolly-cake for the humans, and pupcakes for their prized pooches.

The special cake mix, with added dog meat, went down a treat with those on four legs and she could not believe the response they had received.

"I wanted to do something that I could bake earlier inthe week and not be tempted toeat the leftovers."

Event organiser Maureen Williams said she was happy with the turnout and the crafts on display in 96 stalls.
