Premises cleared of smoke after fire at dry cleaners

Firefighters work to clear smoke from the Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners premises in South Dunedin yesterday.

Firefighters were called to the King Edward St dry cleaners business at 3.11pm, after smoke was spotted coming from the building, a Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the small fire and cleared the premises of smoke, he said.
