Power remains out across the West Harbour area tonight.A Fire Service spokesman said firefighters were called to ``arcing powerlines'' on De Lacy St, Maia, about 6.40pm.
A Delta spokesman said ``equipment failure'' resulted in a loss of power to around 500 customers between Ravensbourne and St Leonards.
Staff were the scene, and power was restored by 9pm.
