A crime spree in a Dunedin suburb continues.
Senior Sergeant Ben Butterfield, of Dunedin, said another two burglaries in Mornington were reported to police at the weekend.
The first burglary was at a house in Serpentine Ave during the day on Friday.
The second was at a house on Hawthorne Ave about 10pm on Sunday. A bicycle was stolen.
Police are investigating both incidents.
A red Samsung smartphone and medication were stolen from a house in Hawthorn Ave in Mornington between 5pm on Wednesday and 10am on Thursday.
Last Monday, an iPad, Xbox One and medication were stolen from houses in Porteous St and Meadow St.
Police were keeping an open mind about who committed the crime but believed the burglaries last week were related, Snr Sgt Butterfield said.
People in Mornington should report any suspicious activity immediately by calling 111.
