Police are calling for information on a man who fled police on an unregistered trail bike in Dunedin about 12.30pm yesterday, Southern District Command Centre Senior Sergeant Brian Benn said.
Snr Sgt Benn, of Dunedin, said police followed the man to Clermiston Ave in Corstorphine and the man stopped the blue bike ''for a short time'' before riding it to Corstorphine Park.
The bike and rider were last seen by police in Hillhead Rd.
Snr Sgt Benn said the ''heavyset'' man was wearing a white helmet and something similar to a green Swanndri bush jacket.
