Woman allegedly assaulted in street

Dunedin police handcuff a woman outside the Salvation Army headquarters in Princes St yesterday morning, following an alleged assault on another woman.

A police spokesman said the incident happened about 10am.

"It appears one person received minor injuries and was transported to hospital by police.

"One person was taken into custody. Charges are being considered."
