Emergency services have been called to a plane crash on Tomahawk Beach, police have confirmed
The plane was earlier seen spluttering and flying low over Ravensbourne and Otago Peninsula.
Police said both occupants of the plane are accounted for and only sustained minor injuries after the plane landed on its roof.
The crash will be referred to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
