Police responded to the crash in which one person was injured at 10.50am, a police spokesman said.
One vehicle crashed into the bridge at the intersection of Brighton and Jeffcoates Rds.
Hato Hone St John sent one ambulance and one rapid-response vehicle.
One person was transported by ambulance to Dunedin Hospital in a moderate condition, St John said.
