The Dunedin City Council is seeking applications for the next round of premier and major events funding.
The council had $400,000 available to support events during 2013-14, and applicants had from April 29 to May 20 to make their case, council special projects co-ordinator Kim Newman said.
Funding would be confirmed as part of the council's annual plan process, and it had previously backed events such as iD Dunedin Fashion Week and the Mid-Winter Carnival, she said.
Applications would be considered by the council's events assessment subcommittee, and confirmed with the annual plan on June 24.
