In with the new loos

The new toilets have arrived in Frederick St near the intersection of George St. A Dunedin City Council spokesman said upper Frederick St, between George and Great King Sts, had to be closed while a crane lowered the upgraded toilets into place. Further work to the new toilet’s design and amenities would be completed by late next month. The upgrades were part of the council’s commitment to improving its facilities in the long-term plan, which includes the installation of two new public toilets each year.
