These are just some of the 4016 names given to the 13,730 dogs recorded on the Dunedin City Council's dog register.
Most popular on the register is Max, with 179 dogs sharing that name, followed by Jess (173), Sam (140), Jack (136) and Jake (124).
One-off names, such as McGinty of Blue Gum and Roger Rico Rokocoko, accounted for more than half of all dog names, with 2650.
