Nail gun stolen from Waverley

A nail gun was stolen while a man was "doing work'' on his house, police say.

Senior Sergeant Liz Waru said the victim returned to get it after working in another area of his house and it was gone.

The theft happened on Doon St, Waverley, some time in the past week.
Inquiries are continuing.

• The owner of two GPS tracking devices has had them stolen from an unlocked motor vehicle in Central Dunedin.

The devices, one of them a yellow Garmin GPS, were taken from the boot of the vehicle on Sunday between 6pm and 6.30pm.

• A set of registration plates were stolen from a vehicle parked in Kaikorai Valley Rd sometime between 5.30pm and 10.30pm yesterday.
