Mosgiel pool work continues

Work continues apace on the new Mosgiel pool, although the progress inside is difficult to discern from the outside.

A Dunedin City Council spokesman said the four pools in the complex were nearing completion, and that sound panels had been installed on the ceiling to prevent echoing inside the building.

"Tradies are hard at work on the interior, exterior and surroundings of the pool as they continue to meet construction milestones.

"The reception area is being Gib-stopped, changing rooms painted and the walkways around the pools are being built."

The pool is due to open in mid-2023.
