Police have named the man killed when a tractor rolled near Waikouaiti yesterday.
He was Christopher Thomas Murphy (24), of Waikouaiti.
The matter has been referred to the coroner.
Southern district deployment co-ordinator Acting Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen said yesterday the man died when the John Deere tractor and fertiliser trailer he was operating slid down a hill on the farm, near Quarry Rd.
The man was thrown from the cab when the tractor and trailer rolled, he said.
Emergency services were called at 10.40am.
