A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a workplace accident in North Dunedin this afternoon.
Emergency services were notified about the incident on Fea St in Dalmore shortly after 4pm.
Fairfax reported the 63-year-old man's leg was impaled by a metal rod.
WorkSafe have been notified.
