A man sustained moderate facial injuries when the car he was driving went off the road, hit a fence and rolled near Palmerston this evening.
A St John spokesman said it was a single vehicle crash and the man in his 20s was being taken to Dunedin Hospital by ambulance.
The accident happened on Palmerston-Dunback Rd about 5.50pm.
