Police are reminding the public to keep their valuables safe after a laptop was taken from an unlocked flat and cars broken into.
Senior Sergeant Steve Larking said the computer was stolen from a flat in Grange St in North Dunedin overnight on Sunday.
"If anyone sees any suspicious activity, give police a call immediately.''
On the same night, three cars parked in Fryatt St were broken into.
Nothing was taken, but people should ensure nothing of value was left inside vehicles overnight, Snr Sgt Larking said.
