Toitu Otago Settlers Museum visitor programmes co-ordinator Chris Watts holds the poppy he knitted at the museum yesterday.

Audience development manager Rachel Cooper said the museum had been running a programme over the years where members of the public could visit and make their own poppies out of wool or paper.

The free, socially distanced drop-in sessions are being held in the museum’s main foyer and will continue until Anzac Day.
