All southern highways are open again after a polar blast caused heavy snow and left many closed earlier this week.
SH87, between Kyeburn and Outram, reopened about 1.20pm yesterday and was the last of the roads to reopen.
Crews were unable to remove a mountain of snow over the highway on Tuesday and continued the work with three ploughs and a loader yesterday morning.
