A fresh face is being sought for the 15th anniversary iD Dunedin Fashion Week.
Organisers have partnered with Dunedin's Ali Mcd Aart Agency to find a male or female who will become a prominent part of the event.
The successful person will be signed to the modelling agency and feature in the iD fashion shows and associated events to be held in Dunedin between March 30 and April 6 next year.
''This is an incredible opportunity for local girls and guys looking to be discovered,'' Ali Mcd Aart Agency co-director Darryl McNamara said.
The company has an exclusive contract to supply models for the iD International Emerging Designer Awards, and the two iD Dunedin Fashion Shows at the Dunedin Railway Station.
Those interested in the role will be photographed in Dunedin on November 3, after which six finalists will be selected.
Their images will be posted online and a winner determined by public voting.
''If you think you've got what it takes to model in a world-class event and take on the southern hemisphere's longest catwalk, then we want you ... Come along and get noticed.''
iD Dunedin Fashion Week committee chairwoman Susie Staley said the ''next big thing'' could be just around the corner and she was eager to see the fresh new face of iD.
''With 2014 being iD's 15th anniversary, and 10 years of the [emerging designer] awards, we want to ensure every part of the show is absolutely first class."
Ms Staley wanted to include international models from the Shanghai University of Engineering Science in next year's anniversary event, after they were a hit with iD audiences earlier this year.
