An equipment failure in North East Valley left more than 300 homes without the internet for much of yesterday.
About 3.30pm on Monday, Chorus was alerted to an outage affecting the North East Valley and Opoho areas.
By yesterday morning, about 300 homes were without internet.
A Chorus spokeswoman said their technicians discovered an equipment failure at the local exchange.
"Chorus sincerely apologises to affected customers for the inconvenience caused by the outage," she said.
About 5pm yesterday, a North East Valley resident said the internet at their property was restored. — APL
