The Commerce Commission is investigating a heat pump servicing company after a Dunedin pensioner raised concerns about its service.
It wants to hear from those who have dealt with Christchurch business Ocean HeatMaster, which waived a $350 fee after Madeline Clark (75) expressed her concerns in the Otago Daily Times in April.
Commission competition branch senior investigator Richard Morgan said five people contacted the commission to ''report or make a complaint about the company'' after the report was published.
Ms Clark had not contacted the commission and Mr Morgan urged her to get in touch.
Ocean HeatMaster is listed with the Companies Office as Ocean Contracting Ltd.
Manager Mike Naidu declined to comment yesterday.
