King's High School year 12 pupil Hamish Duncan has been selected as Dunedin South's Youth MP for 2015-16.
Dunedin South MP Clare Curran said the 16-year-old's determination to engage young people in politics helped him stand out from other finalists.''
I will work with Hamish on youth and community issues in Dunedin South during his tenure as Youth MP.
"He will then represent Dunedin South at Youth Parliament in July next year.''
