Cash and alcohol were taken from Taieri-based golf clubs overnight.
The Gladfield Golf Club was broken into with alcohol and cash taken, and entry was gained to Taieri Lakes Golf Club about 2am, but nothing was taken.
Senior Sergeant Alastair Dickie said all golf clubs around the area had been "alerted that there may be another spate, which we have had in the past''.
Early last year a golf club bandit targeted more than a dozen golf club honesty boxes across Canterbury to Otago, including Kurow, Otematata, and Omarama.
He urged people who saw anyone acting suspiciously to ring 111, and "we will check it out''.
