Gas leak prompts callout in central city

Emergency services attend a gas leak in George St, central Dunedin, yesterday morning, the result of construction workers opening up  an old gas main.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand said crews were called  from St Kilda and Willowbank stations about 9.45am and assisted before technicians completed repairs.
