Dunedin's Golden Centre will host an event this Friday to raise money for the Christchurch earthquake appeal.
Starting at 3pm, Dunedin band Oxo Cubans will perform throughout the five-hour event.
Golden Centre general manager Simon Eddy said people giving donations would automatically enter prize draws, details of which would be released in the coming days. There would also be a silent auction.
Proceeds would be donated to Christchurch Mayor Bob Parker's relief fund.
"A large number of Dunedin-based people will be wondering how they can best contribute to the aid efforts in some way. By holding this fundraising event we hope that we can provide a central point for people to contribute," Mr Eddy said.
Donations will be collected at the Golden Centre from Wednesday.
