Taieri College will reopen tomorrow after a fire in the roof of its hall was contained.
Principal David Hunter said exams would be unaffected. The school hall would be cordoned off.
Nine fire service crews attended the fire.
Fire crews responded to a call of fire in a college hall just after 3pm and were still on site, fire communications shift manager Brent Dunn said.
A small crowd gathered near the scene, where Green St was cordoned off to Church St.
